Working at home can be a bit overwhelming and lonely. It's nice to know that there are many different places we can go to for advice or just to chat. What's so daunting is the fact that there are literally hundreds of work at home sites and it's difficult weeding through all of them. There's only so many hours in a day and I know I don't have the time to go through all of them. Through the years, I have found a few really great sites that I visit often. I sometimes go to these sites for business info or advice but there also times when I stop by just to chat with the other work at home moms and dads.
Here's a list of WAHM sites that I highly recommend:
WAHM.com- WAHM.com is an awesome site filled with awesome people. This site has message boards, business articles, job listings, a business opportunity section, classified section and so much more.
Athomeresources.com- I just joined this site and I love it. It's a lot like WAHM.com.
Workplacelikehome.com - Another great site for moms to get together. Stop by and ask questions on their message boards or just browse the job leads.
www.ratracerebellion.com - Looking for a wahm job? Stop by this site to see a list of job openings. The job list is updated daily so stop by often.
Businessmom.net - This is a site for moms to get together and network. There's messages boards where you can share parenting stories, business ideas, network with other moms, etc. You can also post blogs here or advertise for free in their classified section. This is a really great site and one that I hope stays around forever!
